I've been a member of DS since 2008. This new style is impossible: can't find my groups, my friends list, etc., etc. It's hard work. Please rethink this site.
I know that this site is new and it will take some time to get all the kinks out (such as getting all my friends list back, all my journals, and not having to reset the same password over and over again) and hope that it will go smoothly for you. I know you're trying!
I have been on here many years, and I am thoroughly upset and disgusted with the way this new DS is. HATE IT. Change it back. It's not anything like the old one, and you can't see what you used to go to so much easier. This is NOT a good change. DS will lose many people.
When you go to contact us, or ask a question about how this all works now, there is nothing!!! Why is this better? DS will lose many people!! And it has been a life line to many of us for a very long time. Doesn't DS care about that? There is no clear explanation how to find what we are looking for. I liked the old list of posts for each group I am in. Not here now, or I don't think it is. Who knows????
So sorry to see how difficult (impossible) this new format is to have discussions and/or share opinions and advice.... is there hope that this is 'yet to come'?
I have lost all my sent and received emails. A friend sent me 2 messages during this transition and they are not there, it says, "Oops this page is no longer there". Any way I can find those messages? Please help! Thanks.
What were you people thinking when you changed the format to what you have now? It's extremely frustrating and I dislike the idea that I can't stroll through and see the particular topics within my group. Personally, I think this change was not well planned and as a long term member I feel cheated out that I may need to find a more user friendly forum like you used to have.
I really really really don't like this now. I could not sign in although I had previously joined as requested but it would not accept my password. It has also just told me there is a server error when I accepted a friend request!!!! Where has the "family" feel gone - down the drain. I loved the brother and sister feeling on DS, it was so personal and comforting. I have stayed with DS for years preferring it to other forums; this new set up is just the same as the other "boring and cold" forums. I am soo disappointed.
Not even sure how I got here. Clicking buttons to see what response I get. My biggest issue is groups I m not founder of. The old format had place where I could edit what notifications I received. With the new format, I can edit notifications only if I'm founder. There are some groups I belong to that I would like to be notified of new posts. New members. This is not n options with new format.
I am also not impressed with this new format... I can't make paragraphs in my comments, it all comes out in one big blob, which makes it hard to read and to differentiate trains of thought. A step back from the other platform. The titles at the top of the page are like large advertising of people problems when they are on a laptop in a public place, it's pretty but not practical for the clientel that come to this site looking for discret anonymous support. I have had to reset my password each time I log in it is as if it isn't saving it when I reset it and I am using Chrome and have used it exclusively for years. The font is hard to read on high resolution screens, which is what comes in most laptops and mobile devices these days, which is also a step back from the True Type font that was used in the old platform as well.
All in all, severely disappointed in this new site. I haven't even started to try to edit my group yet either, afraid of what I am going to find there too.

I really dislike not being able to see the full discussion list.
You guys should have beta'd this first with some top users.

2 successive days I've had to have my password reset to log in. The site develop alzheimers?
where are all the pictures I posted in the past? Perhaps a tutorial explaining how to navigate the new site would be helpful?
