This is supposed to be a support site. Yes? I ask the DS management this: where are you taking this ship? You are driving out members by the thousands. Are you hoping to replace us all with new comers who don't have the pre-existing site to compare to? Is this the result of ShareCare entering the picture? Is there no one with any sort of feeling of responsibility?
Are the changes permanent? I have been a member since at least since '06 ( not sure cause I can;t find that info anymore. ) I am all for change, I understand... but I can't believe THESE changes. Its like everything is OPPOSITE of what it was and should be. Huge blocks on the page that are not needed - area could be used to make the whole thread of questions on one page ( seen clearly- like before) I am being serious... is this permanent? The boxes are teeny tiny ( what about people that don't see well) I can only see every third line so when I proof read before submitting, I keep trying to see that mid line AND CAN'T - Im about ready to scream ;( :( Its like someone is playing a joke...I have never used anything so *user- UN friendly - YOu used to have THE very BEST online support group in the world... I have other comments but I will leave it at that. Of course, you will do what you want/ need to do with the site... I just hope that I missed where it said these changes are only temporary... that would be such good news to come back to a site that was like home!
Not sure how I got to this page, but I'll give my response. The major benefit I find, and I mean MAJOR, is that the site is much quicker. I no longer get timed out. If that's because users are logged off after 2 hours, then that was the right thing to do. Most sites on the web (don't know about any other support sites) log you out - my bank seems to do it after 2 minutes of inactivity. So if I can actually log in, read posts, respond to posts, I'm good. Not much of a Hugger and I haven't journaled, so I have no concerns there. I'm a basic user and am very satisfied with the changes.....except one. I do not like having most of the screen taken up by the support group photo. It's too big and I don't have a separate mouse so I'm messing with the built in mouse pad alot, which is a pain. Other than that, I'm glad for the upgrades.
WHAT HAS HAPPENED??!! Please say this is not permanent ! The banners are huge and the most important things are too small. I have been here since '06- it was the very best support site ( in my view) in the world. You used to be able to see an entire thread of subjects EASILY to see what has been going on with the group - at a glance you could view part of the topic- click it and respond- most efficient way to help someone. Please tell - I am so confused -- big banners take up space and itty bitty little boxes to write in - MOST FRUSTRATING PART>>> I can't see what I am writing and trying to view what I wrote is next to impossible because I can ONLY SEE EVERY 3rd LINE!!!! Its insanity. Is this a prank or is this temporary... or something????
Truthfully, don't know why I am bothering - its not going to make any diff- you give a place for the "complainers" - they can write there hearts out as long as there is a ( tiny) box to do so- never hear back. This is really a blow - was such a special place; like no other!

From what I saw so far,I cannot really decide whether I like the new format or not 60-40 for NOT tho to many back and forth tabs,and cannot find people or subjects easily,will have to get more into it at a later date,plus why the last name???? DO NOT LIKE THAT

I created an account under the name "ALLICIA" because my old account "NICOLE DAVIS" would not let me in. I cannot find any of my friends, or my pictures. please reconsider going back to the old website. and for all my friends I am under ALLICIA now.
I joined the group Shared Arts and Crafts. It is important to see the photos that the members posted previously and to add new ones to show case the members talents and crafts.
