  I am newly diagnosed.  For a year I have had SOB and gasping in the night.  My doc decided to have the ENT scope me because part of my gasping has been caused by my throat closing at night.  The ENT found my voice box very swollen likely due to reflux.  Apparently you can have a small trickle of acid coming up without knowing it.  I do have occasional heartburn, stomach burning, and rarely will also have chest pain from it.  Right now I am trying to figure out my triggers.  Do you guys...

  I have had SOB on exertion and gasping at night for 10 months.  I was recently diagnosed hypothyroid and have learned about the breathing problems associated with that.  I've been on 75mcg ofLevothyrosine for 12 days and am hopeful I will finally get some relief.  I am hoping my treatment isn't as complicated as what I am reading it has been for so many people.  I would like to know if anyof you have experienced this symptom...especially the gasping at night.  Not certain, but I think the...
