  Extreme pain in hands and arms at night

  I have been experiencing increased pain in the evening to the point of tears in my hands and arms and sometimes legs. I have mats and currently on lefludemine (sp) and remicadeinfusions. I have been taking tramadol every evening for the past couple of weeks and it doesn’t seem to help that much. Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve tried ice, I’ve tried warm baths and nothing seems to help.

  my RA is going to start me on remicade infusions. Is anyone currently or previously done infusions?  I started on plaquenil and then had eye problems, then MTX injections and that worked for 5 months then serious issues with liver and kidneys, then Arava for 7 months but that isn’t doing anything and I can now barely function and in so much pain so she said this is the next step.i just don’t know if this is something I want to try. The warnings are horrible.

  I have starting losing so much hair the past 7 months that my hair stylist has refused to color my hair anymore.  I use to have very thick curly hair and now it is falling out non stop.  I have talked to my rhuemy and family dr and they all say it happens when you get older.  I am 54 and my mom is 75 and still has a thick head full of hair and so does all my female and male relatives.  I have been on plaquenel, MTX pill and shots and now on Arava.  The Rhuemy swears that my hair loss is...

  Hi everyone. I haven't been on for a long time but decided to come back to the forum. I was on plaquenil but had eye issues so the dr put me on methotrexate. It scares me to death to take it. Has anyone else taken it and if so does it really make a difference.
