  I have a congenital urethroperinial fistula which results in a continuous flow of urine out of an opening in the perineum.  The traditional treatment method is surgical removal of the fistula but this is not possible because radiation damage to the tissue (prostate cancer treatment) prevents the tissue from healing.  I would like recommendations for wide pads to fit in the crotch of my underwear.  I currently use two pads, slightly overlapping in the center, with the edges extending beyond...

  My latest surgery, removing a section of the urethra, failed after 18 months because the radiated tissue would not heal.  I have developed urine leak through a fistula in the perineum.  I also have a suprapubic catheter.  The fistula leak results in urine running down the inside of my legs unless I trap it in pads.  This requires 2 pads (Guards) side by side in the crotch of my underwear.  I try sleep on my belly to encourage the urine to flow out the catheter, which is effective.  During...

  Hi, I'm a 78 year-old male with prostate and bladder problems for over 18 years.  My prostate cancer was treated with radiation which resulted in a urethral stricture.  7 urethrotomies and at least that many dilations have left me incontinent.  The urologist and I decided to install a SupraPubic catheter 2 months ago, hoping that the stricture would finally close off the urethra and solve the incontinence.  Hasn't happened, yet.  I'm looking for advice with respect to the catheter.  After...
