  So I received my Humira pens today. I was super excited and terribly scared all at once. I followed the video instructions and injected my upper thigh. It burned. Of course I'm waiting for a side effect but it's been an hour and all that's happened is a panic attack which I knew I was going to get. I hope this medicine works. Fingers crossed. Anyone have anything to help me understand humira better.

  Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a while. I have been in so much pain I don't even want to be around people. Not to long ago my doc was trying to get me on humira. I got a call this week that finally I was approved and I should receive it in 48 hours. Then we got hit with hurricane Mathew. So hopefully I'll get this new med next week. Just a quick update. My fingers hurt. I hope everyone is feeling better.

  I haven't posted for a while but today has been very bad. I was laying on my couch with hubby this morning watching tv. I had taken my valium at 9am. Around 11am I started feeling short of breath. I ignored it but it got stronger to the point where I thought I was going to stop breathing. Im in panic attack mode and the thing is I know its a panic attack I just cant control it when its that severe. In my head Im dying. Im crying and about to start screaming. It gets so bad I call 911....

  After calling the rheumatologist every day as many of you told me to do. They finally let me come in today. Thank god! So they kept me on prednisone but made the tablets 5mg every 6 hours and put me on SULFASALAZINE 500 mg 3x a day. Thats just for now until I get some test done and hopefully then I can start a med called Humira. I've read the pamphlet and it sounds great except for the injection once a week but at this point I'll try anything. Fingers crossed. Thank you guys for all the advice...
