As soon as I was diagnosed, a constant fear of doing everything I can to not have flare ups has taken over my life. Does anyone avoid sweating by not going outside, not working out etc? Those are a few examples of what I'm doing and it's already taking a toll. How do I continue to do the things I enjoy without the fear of having a new bump come up?

Hello all! I was recently diagnosed with HS a few days ago. However, I have always had these painful, embarrassing lumps under my breasts, bikini area, and between my butt cheeks for some time now. I was put on Cephalexin and Bactrim for a week and my newest bumps started to heal. I also just got Clindamycin 1% gel to put on them but I am little worried. Have any of you used this gel before? I feel more comfortable asking you than my doctor because she is not at all familiar with this skin...
