  He had an affair in 2016, a deep and deciteful affair that took a lot of work to maintain. After 6 months of him staying with friends or his parents, I decided to try again. My kids were at a difficult age, our families were emeshed, and apparently I am a glutton for punishment. I did therapy and work on my side of the situation. He did not.   So, we starting to try to spend time together again, even though he has been moved out since August. Now, suddenly a couple of weeks later- we are both acting like nothing ever happened.  Is that normal?  We have even slept together twice and he's spent the night.  WTF am I doing???  Am I the only person that has ever gone through this period of pretending things were ok?  They are not ok!  He has betrayed me in the worst possible way and I'm suddenly burying my head in the sand.  Maybe...

  It wasnt' a sexless marriage by any means.  We had great sex at least 3 X per week.  But, I didn't desire him in the "right" way, the puppy love way that a new relationship fuels.  He's been moved out a month.  Her husband contacted me.  I had suspected, I had confronted and he looked me deep in the eyes and lied.  He hasn't had a job in years, been on the couch depressed, smoking weed & drinking and now having an affair with someone 23 years younger than him.  We have 2 kids, 13 & 11...
