  I've been thinking alot about my future since I turned 50 back in April, and I'm feeling concerned and distressed about it. I'm single and have never dated because of my social anxiety and because of trust issues due to a sexual assault from my childhood, I have no friends, especially no close friends (only family and aquaintances) due to a truckload of bad social experiences from my past (e.g. bullying in school, having a perfectionist parent I could never please, being abandoned by my birth...

  Not feeling too great emotionally today. My Social Anxiety Disorder got triggered today while I was at my doctor's office. I was checking the time and my text messages on my cellphone while waiting in the reception area, when I heard a voice saying "hello, hello".   I'm currently recovering at my parent's place after a nasty fall last night that landed me in the hospital. I have gashes above my left eye that bled like you wouldn't believe, bashed up my knees so bad it hurts like hell to walk (I had to be wheeled around the hospital in a wheel chair), and I've got bruises on my left hand that makes it painful to use it.
