  So I made an introductory post about the hows and whys of my lying habits, but I wanted to know what sort of coping strategies have helped you guys on your healing journey.It's only a few days into my serious attempt to remove this habit but something that has helped me is identifying what specific things trigger me and cause me to lie (mainly in defense of myself).   Hello, everyone.I've never joined any sort of group like this before, so this will be my very first venture into a support group setting. My pride has begrudgingly taken a backseat as I admit that I have a serious problem with lying.
