I'm also new to this online group. I lie about many things - big and small. I lie out of fear.
I hope we can learn some things by reading the posts and supporting one another.
I will stay in touch through this site. I'm praying for all of the members to find healing and peace and recovery from this addiction and that we may all find better relationships with our spouses, significant others and family. Hey Goodwin. I'm one who's been at it for a long time, and my 2 cents on where to start is to figure out who you want to be, long, a person who never lies, and what you need to do to get there. Make a plan, stick to the plan, and know that it will not be easy, will take a long time, but can be done. Hang in there and good luck.

Hi Blklie. Your at the right place. Read through a lot of the posts. You'll find a lot of people here trying to figure themselves out, and a lot of replies from people with some good ideas. See which ones seem to make sense to you or fit your thoughts and feelings. It has helped me in a lot of ways.

I'm a newbie too. Lies are surprisingly comforting when you're trying to "defend" yourself against something that isn't even attacking you.
