  Hello there.  I have fairly weak hands and weak quadriceps.  These are MS related.  Would standard strength-building exercises do me any good?  Oh dear.  Lorraine.

  Hi everyone.  I've had MS for 30 years but a new concern has emerged.  I had an ultrasound for a lump on the back of my hand and the untra-sound report said they could not rule out malignancy.  So now in six days I'm to have an MRI which might tell me what sort of animal it is.  If the MRI result comes back positive, then I think I would be diagosed with sarcoma.  And then what treatments/tests might I expect?  It's the not knowing that's keeping me awake.And if anyone out there lives in...

  Oh, how tasty it is to eat crow after my ealier bold claims.  On April 14th I saw a neurologist who said that my hips have become weak and he uttered the dreaded 'p' word, progressive of course.  I don't care yet to start using a cane but wil see a physiotherapist at the MS clinic and will discuss then.  Lash me with wet noodles if you wish.  Oh foo!  Lorraine.
