I'm finding it easier to speak truthfully the more I go along. I feel less of a burden not having to juggle the stories. I'm so glad that I am on this path now.

I am still lie free as of today. I have made real progress in this. I know this can be beaten. I have overcome more and know I am stronger than my ego.

I woke up today and got ready for work. I felt good knowing I haven't lied at all. It's a good feeling also freeing. I realized how much effort goes into not slipping up or forgetting what I said in a lie to keep out of trouble. It's much easier to just be considered forgetful or just not thinking instead of creating a story to cover up.

I am nervous about messing up. I have no reason to be worried but it still is happening. I think because of it being n easy habit it would happen more easily. I will just be vigilant and know what I speak is only true.

Yesterday I had a great day. I got to see my kids and go out with them. I made an effort not to be untrue and succeeded! It was great not having to really think about what I was saying since when you speak something true it just comes out much easier with none of the covering up and making sure I didn't slip up. A little irritation from a person is better than full blown anger and regret on my part for a stupid lie.

I am working and all of a sudden I felt like sick to my stomach. And I had caused it from lying. I can't see my kids for 6 more days because of me. I can't blame anyone for this either. I did it so no matter how I feel it is a'll from me and what I did. I hate this feeling knowing I did this all myself. But this feeling i don't want to feel anymore it's so empty without them. Yesterday was so long.

Why do I lie? I usually lie to avoid trouble with people I should really never lie to. I also do it to not feel stupid when I take an action i didn't think through. I overtalk and wind up f,ing myself in the end. Today,I was thinking that if I have a n urge to lie I should instead just not speak. If I stop and think first i will realize that what I was going to say is not what I want to put out in the world. My words have consequence and lies just make everything I say suspect.

Today resolve to stop lying. It seems easy to say that but I know it's a hard thing to really do. I lie about a lot of stuff !mostly small things but those turn out to be my downfall. I m hopeful though, if I can stop alcohol i can stop lying.

Hi,I came here to find help I lie a lot and today a small lie was too much and my ex said I need to get help. Because of me I can't see my kids for a week. I just want t stop for them esp. I know it has caused me so many problems this is just the tipping point. Thanks
