About Me
I am a 63 year old woman, who was just diagnosed last year with severe emphysema. What a shock. I knew I had some difficulty breathing from time to time, but now just a year later I am on O2 24/7. Using a walker and just received my power chair, as it\'s too hard to walk , even with a walker more than 15 feet without setting down and resting. I struggle several hours every day, just to try to accomplish a few things. I now choose what\'s most important and go from there. There\'s so much I want to know about this disease and so many questions I have. My doctor does not explain much to me, so I look up a lot on the internet. Besides my illness. I watch a lot of TV and I surf the internet. I live in a high rise for seniors and disabled over the age of 50. I visit in the community room when I feel up to it. and I visit with a neighbor from time to time. I have 3 adult Children, 5Grandchildren and my loving Pomeranian, Einstein. I am please to meet any and all who would like to message me, and be my friend.
