  I’ve explained more in depth in previous posts, but my husband and I are not able to conceive naturally. He has varicocele and had surgery back in May 2017 to help. We were told that if it was going to make a difference in our efforts to conceive it would do so within 6 months. It’s finally starting to set in for both of us that we are never going to be able to have children naturally. Our next step would be to see someone about IUI.   Hi all. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years. We found out in April that my husband’s varicocele was the likely cause of our infertility. He had surgery in May to hopefully help. We still haven’t conceived even though we were told it could happen 3-6 months after surgery. Every single month, it is like I’m mourning a child I never even had. All I want in life is to be a mother. I have no one to talk to about how difficult this is. I am beginning to lose all hope.
