About Me
I met my significant other at 35. Age sure does catch up with you quickly when you are busy with your career. We have been seeing a fertility doctor for a year now. I had a large ovarian cyst and needed surgery. After recovery of a few months, after 2 IUIs we became pregnant. Sadly, it was a tubal pregnancy and I had to have another surgery which resulted in the loss of one of my tubes. We had to wait again to try after I could recover from the surgery. Our RE now recommends IVF due to my complications and age. I just turned 40 and am so scared I have missed my chance to become a mother and for my SO and I to start our family. I will start hormone treatments in 5 weeks. It is all so very overwhelming, however, we are hoping and praying for success. Thanks for reading my story.
