I have gone through twice. I have a daughter from my first round of IVF with fresh transfer. And I just completed my second round of IVF with PGS testing and did an FET. I will find out tomorrow if I am pregnant! The hormones absolutely make your emotions crazy as all get out!! And yes my belly got sore from all the injections. Are you still doing stim? Or progesterone in oil as well? I am here if you need to vent or ask questions. Feel free to message me!

I think everyone here will agree that sadness is not a weird response at all. Keep reminding yourself that hormones are a powerful drug and that you're (probably) not actually going crazy!

Thanks for the message. I had to start injections 4 days before my cycle day 1 so after now 10 days, I am glad to hear that some of the things I'm feeling are normal. Did either of you feel a lot of abdominal pressure and discomfort? For me it is worse at night which probably adds to my moods being off after having issues sleeping.

Hi, day 5 was when I felt my ovaries for the first time too. They get even more sore and I know it sounds crazy but mine feel like they are bubbling and popping. Hang on in there, the injections are horrible and sharp and the pain after one of mine is emmense as I have a reaction to it and my skin bubbles up big. I feel for you Hun, were roughly at the same stage. Hugs to you xx

My experience was actually exciting! After 3 failed IUI's I was so ready to move forward with IVF that I think I ignored all the negative possibilities of why it can't happen and focused on why it would happen.

I did my own injections and I found ways to stay motivated. Believing is seeing! Have you ever tried acupuncture? Helps with anxiety, Infertility, hormone imbalances and much more. I did it for all my IUI's and ivf cycle.

I am just starting the process. Met with our RE today and we have committed to IVF. Such a scary journey to start. Many blessings to you!

My first round of IVF was really smooth, but this second round is kicking my butt. I hope that is a good sign, actually. I also started acupuncture, as Shavona7l7p suggested, and I do believe it is helping, particularly with my sleep. It does mean even more needles than the ones I use on myself for the stims, but I have become a believer. Breathe and keep remembering the goal. I hope that everything has gone well with the rest of your cycle.

I'm right there with you! My oocyte retrieval is at 7am tomorrow and I feel like I ate a 15 course meal. I actually lost a few lbs because I feel so full. I heard that you will feel so much better and lighter after the retrieval.

I hope by now things are better and you feel positive again. I am new to this post but not ivf, xf, medications or the gammon of feelings. Just had a transfer yesterday and feel a bit sad too.

I feel bloated and sore as ll of the time, the injections hurt! But of course all worth it. It's true, the meds and hormones do things to us women. All emotions are normal. I have a whole week to wait until I find out! I'm an older mom. After 7 Mc and many iui and ivf cycles, we had our daughter. Now trying for a sibling.
