  Hi everyone. I took Lexapro for 4 years and it really saved my life. I felt less panicked and my anxiety almost completely went away. Then in June, I experienced a horrible Panic attack in the middle of the night and ever since then my anxiety has been horrible. I can barely make it to work and I have an intense fear of coughing uncontrollably or throwing up. (sounds stupid I know, but its terrifying for me) My doc took me off the Lexapro in June and put me on Prozac. I'm at 60 mg now and I'm...

  Hi everyone. I started seeing a new therapist a few weeks ago. He's very nice and is a PhD, but I haven't been to therapy in several years so it's been unusual. I feel like I'm talking most of the time but I don't feel like he has much to say. I'm just venting to him the whole session. Has anyone else had an experience like this in therapy? Is the job of a therapist to give advice or just to listen? I need coping skills to deal with this anxiety!

  Hello all,I have battled horrible anxiety for several years now. I haven't been the same since my first panic attack in 2013. I started seeing a psychiatrist soon after and he put me on Lexapro.   Hello,I am brand new to these groups. I have had anxiety for a very long time. I had panic attacks in 2013 and then I went on medication that took them away but three months ago I had a panic attack in the middle of the night and have had such a hard time since then.
