  Hi Guys!  So it has been just over a week since I had my first IVIG treatment and I am not feeling any different.  Actually this past Saturday I was really hopeful, I was perky and was able to go grocery shopping. But then yesterday I crashed.  It was so difficult to walk and cutting up my food was a chore.  I am so discouraged.  I am thinking I am not on the right level of Mestinon yet; but, what if this IVIG treatment doesn't work - what then?

  Hi everyone,Official diagnosis came yesterday so first IVIG treatment is scheduled for next Friday.  I would love to hear about everyone's experiences.  How do the treatments help?  I am just very curious and nervous.

  Hi everyone.  I have been reading through a lot of the past postings and seeing that some of you start to feel your Mestinon wearing off (I do to - I agree) and so you take your next dose.  I am currently taking 60mg every 4 hours.  Yesterday I had a single-fiber EMG and I had to be off my Mestinon for 24 hours.  That was awful, you don't realize how much it helps until you can't take it.  Anyway, reading some of the post I get the impression that some get an almost instant relief after...

  Good morning,Does anyone have any experience or gone through a single-fiber emg?  I have one scheduled for this coming Tuesday afternoon and I am not looking forward to it at all.  I know it is important so that the right treatment can take place but everything I read has me pretty anxious about this test.  My other emg tests have shown within normal range still but the mestinon and prednisone is helping a good bit with the trunk weakness.  It has not helped much with the blurred vision,...

  My journey started about a year ago and I am still going through some testing, a single something EMG next week - blood test and other EMG have all been normal, but my symptoms all present as MG and mestinon and prednisone are helping.  But, things aren't normal.  Will they ever be normal or do you adapt to a new normal?  They have only started the mestinon for about 3 months now and some thing are better and some things are not, even worse maybe.  I don't want to keep running to the doctor...
