I was talking with a few on the chat and we thought it would nice to have a mini get together in IA. We were discussing maybe in september some time. Does anyone feel like they could make it. Catherine17 was going to check on hotels in the area. I believe Dubuque IA.
OR I would love to host a get together in Minnesota. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

OMG, I am booked and will be driving. The guy on the phone was hilarious. He told me they only had two rooms left. So I asked the prices of the rooms. One was $195.00 and this room ruled the manison. He had me laughing so much. I opted to take the less expensive room but I have a jacuzzi in my room. :)

OK, I made a big decision today. I am going to Iowa. Going to meet Shirley and LuAnn in the Niagara Falls area and we will drive from there. Booked my room at the Redstone Inn. Shirley he said you wanted the room under construction, so he gave me your room. So I guess he knows that room will be done. Got the 20% off too. So glad I have something to look forward to. Life not so good here right now! Will be so glad to meet new people among the old.

I didn't actually want the room under construction, I wanted it to be done....LOL

It was the first room I picked...he said they were working on it and I could have it if it was done so I picked another room. He said he would move me if it was finished. I think he will make sure it is done as he sounds like he is excited that we booked the whole place......

If it isn't done we will all be nice and cosy......hugs

Bumping this up. We are getting together in Dubuque, IA..yes...Dubuque, IA the weekend of September14. Las Vegas was the beginning of many new friendships. It so helps to meet others in the same boat and share and share.
