I was talking with a few on the chat and we thought it would nice to have a mini get together in IA. We were discussing maybe in september some time. Does anyone feel like they could make it. Catherine17 was going to check on hotels in the area. I believe Dubuque IA.
OR I would love to host a get together in Minnesota. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

I know the house in vrbo. It was a B & B for many years called the Bishop house, very beautiful, but as with many of these beautiful old houses it is on the border of a questionable neighborhood. And everything would be a short drive not anything really in walking distance.

I forgot to mention, when the Innkeeper - Robert - asked if I was bringing "my partner" with me and I said no...and started to explain...he said to tell everyone he is going to make his soup for us as he only does for special guests. I think he said it was Chicken Wild Rice (num!) and we could do that for lunch on Saturday! Yay! :)
