I was talking with a few on the chat and we thought it would nice to have a mini get together in IA. We were discussing maybe in september some time. Does anyone feel like they could make it. Catherine17 was going to check on hotels in the area. I believe Dubuque IA.
OR I would love to host a get together in Minnesota. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Hey LuAnn ... Now you have me wondering...."his JOB?????" The Stan I know and have , ahem , loved, would never consider "it" a JOB! Ask Paula if you don't believe me. Maybe you were playing craps with someone taller??? It was very smoky in the casino, and you WERE wearing sunglasses in Vegas. Don't tie Stan up, oops down, to be a family man if he's not the one. NOW GET HIM BACK TO "moi" as they say in Canada!!!!! Shirley PLEASE straighten her out so I won't have to worry on the next get together - ok????

LOL...I will explain to her there are a lot of MEN out there....SHE does not need to TAKE SOMEONE ELSE'S.!!! We will have a long road trip so should give me plenty of time to talk to her and for her to UNDERSTAND that we are ALL HURTING and do not want to hurt anyone any further just to SATISFY her LONLINESS !!!

Cathy, the first hotel you listed look great to me. Now we just have to figure out dates. Looks like Luann and Shirley will be in sept. I am excited for a road trip.

You all have fun, I won't be going anywhere for a while. You can always come down to New Orleans and visit, we can pass a good time. LuAnn, please leave Stan alone. Isn't he in enough trouble? lol

I talked to the boarder guards and picking up Stan tomorrow so he is ready for our road trip!!!!!!!! Sorry Vicke I just need to use pappa a bit longer....Paula New Orleans sounds wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!

Hum...Thelma, Louise, and STAN ! Don't let him drive without a booster seat. Have fun!!! Oh , and he enjoys getting cake at Cracker Barrels or rest stops along the way.

Wow, would I love to come, but can't make the trip with family and friends coming my way in September---plus work schedule---trying to remember to be thankful for a good job and paycheck!!! I love you guys and miss any time I can't be there when there's a gathering ANYWHERE----
