I was talking with a few on the chat and we thought it would nice to have a mini get together in IA. We were discussing maybe in september some time. Does anyone feel like they could make it. Catherine17 was going to check on hotels in the area. I believe Dubuque IA.
OR I would love to host a get together in Minnesota. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Possibly Davenport....what ever works best for everyone. Just thought Iowa may be kind of centrally located for some of us. :)

I am in what ever the spot. Davenport is much eaiser to get to on the highway than Dubuque.

I can do any weekend except the 30th. I am in Illinois, I go to Iowa City all the time to visit my son so anywhere in Iowa works for me!

Checked mapquest. 303 miles. I've never driven that far alone... but then I'd never flown to Vegas alone until last month. So who knows!?!

12-13 hour drive for me, but doable, depending on the dates. I really should get job, but all this talk of going places is a deterant.

Wish I was closer! Driven through Iowa many a time on the way to school. Marti, you will always be my hero for driving that distance alone and not have driven it before!!!!!

Remember there is an open invitation for anyone to come visit me in Maine!! Can't wait for our next big adventure!
