This is a great question. i will be interested in seeing the responses to this one.
Today is only my 5 month mark... I wear my ring on my finger, and Bob's wedding ring on a chain around my neck.
Some friends have told me they switch the ring to their right hand.
Wishing you a good day! Hugs, Linda

I stopped wearing them at about 2 years! I think today, tomorrow or never would be all correct answers. Whatever makes it right for you. I wanted mine displayed where I could see them everyday as it brought me comfort. Sorry if I shared too much! Hugs!!!
I was thinking about getting a me ring, mothers ring or something else to wear.

After a little over a year, I removed my rings and had a lovely necklace/pendant designed which includes my engagement ring, wedding band, and his wedding band. I wear it around my neck on many occasions but not all the time. I wanted to keep the three rings together in the hope that generations of our family will enjoy the heirloom, and in some way remember us as part of their lineage.
Like Lori (lkmeb), I too came to the point where it saddened me to continue wearing them on my left hand, so I decided on the necklace. Just as we all grieve differently, we all have differing opinions on this subject. It's interesting to see the individual perceptions. Blessings. TJ

I have a small gold/quartz pendant that I bought her about 5 years ago, a little bear (her nickname). I put that on my gold chain the day she passed and have not taken it off since. It is quite heavy for a small pendant and the weight against my chest feels good.

i know what you mean about feeling the weight of the pendant, and in my case Bob's wedding band.
It feels good know it is there and it's a connection to our loved ones. I also were a pendant. I ordered 2 ( a cross, and a heart) that the mortuary added some of Bob's ashes into. I love to wear one of those in addition to his band. I feel that I still have him with me in some tiny way.
I know that is probably silly, but it really blesses me a lot!!

Since you are considering it now after two years, you must be almost ready. So go with your feelings.
