I was sent this the other day by my best friend, also a widow. Not sure who the author was, but I do want to share1

I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you

And then I realized....You spent the rest of your life with me

I smile because I know you loved me till the day you went away

And will keep loving me....till the day we're together again

Michelle, you hit a home run my dear! So much depends on our perspective -- and you just caused me to have a major shift (tantamount to tectonic plates in the earth shifting during an 9.1 earthquake). All I can say is, Of Course! Thank you so very much. You done made me happy, so now I've got to go do my happy dance!!!!!

    Today I feel grateful. Grateful for my dog Blue (Blue Jean Baby Queen, Prettiest girl I've ever seen). Grateful I'm still kickin'. Grateful I'm finally taking responsibility for my health. Grateful I own my home. Grateful for good friends and neighbors who watch over me. Grateful to God for His everlasting love and patience with me. Grateful I survived the 10 years since my wife of 30 years...
