I don't like having to take the car for the oil change and whatever else it needs! Joe took care of all of the auto care.
My husband always paid all the utilities. I had moved out of an apartment complex in which the utilities were included in the rent. So, I had never paid a utility bill in my life!!! My husband was always walking around the house, turning off tv's, computers, radios and lights that my son and I had left on. He was always complaining that we had "No respect for Con Ed!!!".
Now I have to pay the bills. So I walk turning off lights and tv's.
I tell my son he uses too much water when he brushes his teeth.
And our thermostat will be set at 72 all winter ( my husband liked a "toastier" -his word- home)
The other thing I hate is the bulk shopping. My husband would do weekly COSTCO, BJ's, WALMART shopping for the home. He bought food, detergents, paper products, pet food. I had not bought toilet paper in 7 years!!! I didn't even know the price of soap detergent.
I use my coupons and try to shop wisely. But, these were the things he enjoyed. The things I now hate doing because he's not here.
