Hello all -
I am brand new here. Reading some of your stories has made me realize that I will not be going at this along. My wife of 9 years is days away from dying from cancer, and I sit here not knowing what the future holds. With as sudden as this has happened(her treatment had been going very well for over 2 years), I am not even certain which emotions I should have.
I am scared.
Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Good Luck Eddie, try to stay strong - but just know its ok to lose it man... I cant tell you how many times I have just lost it at random times.
It's such a difficult time for you. I was in your place 2 short weeks ago. Just like everyone else said, treasure these days, as painful as they are. Tell her everything that you want her to hear. I did and I know he heard me. Your emotions will be all over, and then all over again. We re here for one another, and it helps somewhat to write nod share our story. Thinking of you. Peace.
My wife is resting comfortably and finally asleep after a hectic day. I absolutely know she can still hear me and I have been sharing stories and laughs with her all day.
She would be stunned to know I straightened up the house last night without a little nudge from her....lol
The journey continues....thanks again for listening all!
You will treasure these times, remembrances to be held onto
Experiences the two of you shared, brought back to life in talk

The end is very near and is in the lords hands, and for that I celebrate and smile. I know that she will be with me forever, and that is putting more at ease each day, even if it is through a lot of tears.
I find myself reading here quite often now, and I look forward to hearing more from all of you not only hear, but in other threads as well.
Did you all have similar experiences at this point?
