Tomorrow will be 7 days since I lost my wife Glenda to stage 4 Colorectal Cancer after a 14 month battle. We were married for 43 years, and I see no way to go on. I'm living a "Catch 22". I want to die to be with her , but don't believe in suicide. Also, have two son's that I know Glenda would want me to live for, and be there for. I see no future that is worth living.

I am sorry for losing the love of your life.i think what your feeling is normal for us greiving the loss.i lost my husband 7 mos. Ago and for the 5 mos.i also just want to die and be with him
After all 45 yrs.of being with the person you love thats suddenly taken is no picnic.right were you are right now, nothing that anyone can say will

I too wish I could be with my husband, somehow knowing that I will see him again hasn't helped with the loss I feel right now. I miss him most at night, we used to hold hands and say our prayers before we went to sleep. I miss that and being able to touch him during the night. I have trouble getting anything done. I do take piano lessons and play daily that helps to pas the time

    Today I feel grateful. Grateful for my dog Blue (Blue Jean Baby Queen, Prettiest girl I've ever seen). Grateful I'm still kickin'. Grateful I'm finally taking responsibility for my health. Grateful I own my home. Grateful for good friends and neighbors who watch over me. Grateful to God for His everlasting love and patience with me. Grateful I survived the 10 years since my wife of 30 years...
