This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself. My name is Tim, and I lost my beautiful wife a little over two months ago. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm 41 years old (she was only 11 days older than me, born at the same hospital no less!), and have two boys, ages 18 and 12.
This looks like a great place to share experiences, and support each other. I'll try to contribute what I can.
Over the past couple of months, my mind has been racing non stop. I think of her all the time. I believe that when we met and were married, we became one. That would explain why I have felt so terrible when she died. A piece of me died with her. One thing that just dawned on me a week ago is this; if a piece of me died with her, then a piece of her still lives with me. This has helped me a little bit. I still have a long, long, LONG way to go.

I lost my beloved husband 5 weeks ago.. When you said that your head is spinning I also feel the same way. Never look at what you have lost but what you have left.
