I don't like it either, it is too hard to keep track of the messages. It's very confusing

This is really sad, what felt like a family who supported each other now just seems to disconnect us from each other. Even though I didn't post much I felt connected to each and every one, now I don't know if I will even come to read. Daily support should be connecting not disconnecting, supporting, not chasing people away.

My local Walmart is undergoing a major remodel. I don't like it either but I still shop there. Change is always unsettling plus the new format has just been launched, there will be changes to the change I am sure. Uh oh maybe I shouldn't have said that. I have to keep adjusting the size of the text. That is a pain. Maybe cut back the huge looming banner graphic, that alone would help. It is both imposing and menacing. Sheesh!

Ok not sure how comfortable I feel with this new changed version, the other was a bit simpler, but I adjust to change quite quickly. The worst change has already occurred, my husband passed away, so a website change, is no big deal... atleast it crashes, or wont recognize my password, then we will have issues, bahaha Much love and hugs carla

It is different for sure. Just harder to see the list of posts and topics. Change is always hard, but we all have been through the worse. I am going to keep positive it will all work out and we can continue to support each other.

I'm not sure I can stay, I have had to reset my password every time I log in, over 5 times, it keeps saying my password is invalid so I have to change it if I want to log in, in addition to that, I have to wait some time before I can reset as it will only let me reset once within a certain time period. I really enjoyed the people I met on here, I am sorry they messed everything up, there aren't even any photos anymore that I can find, whoever changed everything, it was a really bad idea, no one should have to go through all of this just to go to a forum, I have been on many forums before and never experienced such a mess. If I can't get back on here please feel free to email me, it would be nice to stay in touch with some of you and would like to remain friends.

The password thing is so weird. I have been on today on my iPad and 2 different pc's with no problem. i did have to reset it the first time, but it has been working fine since. Hope those of you that are frustrated check back in a while, and that these bugs get resolved!

Tim, I totally agree with you. I have had to change my password a minimum of five times. This site is difficult to navigate and extremely confusing. Like you, I am considering leaving this site even though I thoroughly need this support. I just wish they would have left well-enough alone. And, to add insult to injury, I must not have paid close enough attention, because I didn't realize that I would be losing all of my messages, both sent and received. I also think that we've lost some of the closeness that we previously shared through the old site. I'm done griping for right now. Thank you for listening.

Every time I go to login I have to reset my password! So frustrating and I absolutely hate this format. The old way was so much easier than this! I am with Tim57 I may have to give this up completely.

I'm not liking too much either at the moment. I have to reset my password every time I log in. All of my messages have been deleted either. I really like the connections I make here, but so far I find this frustrating.

Tim, I've been on this site for about 3 years now and can only say I believe that this change has been for the sake of change only. Some clown has destroyed a perfectly good site. This has been downgraded not upgraded. I wonder what the reason and the logic was behind this. Was it monetary, demographics, just a way to get rid of all the old posts and replies or to get rid of members who aren't active or active enough. If you notice, I believe we are now listed as having 1200 plus members. About a year ago I did a specific detailed count on this forum (WW) and we had somewhere around 3500 to 4000 members. Maybe we were clogging up a server somewhere.

I noticed there is a support group called "DailyStrenth Members Community". LOTS of comments there with all the same frustrations expressed here. Many people are having the password problem, and apparently the DS folks recognize there was a problem with messages not transferring over., etc. I trust they will get these things fixed, but time will tell. I hope everyone hangs in there in the meantime.

is it my computer or the new format but i'm having trouble reading things. it seems like the contrast is off. anyone else having this problem. Thanks

Hi Laurie, it is hard to read! found this comment in another general DS support group topic blog/ thought it nailed one of the problems:
"...this bright white back ground posting is like staring at a lightbulb or the sun after a bit.....really need to shade this or use a soft color background!Or is this something we somehow set ourselves??? any way to make this less bright??? "
