How long can I stay wet

as you all know diapers and pull ups are not cheap so I try and stay in my diaper when it's wet for a few hours before I get changed into a cleAn diaper but now I'm getting itchy red bumps and am wondering if I'm wearing my wet diapers for too long. How long if your using powder should you stay wet?

I stay wet as long as I can without leaking.

I only wear pullups for sleepovers and if I wake up and have done a wee in it I change it straight away because it's more comfortable to be dry. When I was little my mum used sudocrem and I always put a little bit on before my pull up just to protect my skin. But because you can get rashes from being wet I think it's better to change as soon as I realise.
