we will pay a bit of a homage n pray for your good interview tomorrow
I just returned to work right after the start of 2012 after being out of work for 26 months. It was literally 26 months of hell. I learned a lot from that 26 months of hell though - namely that I'm much stronger than I thought I was and that God is faithful to take us through things we most likely would have doubted we could GET through, had we not actually experienced them.
Being unemployed, as I and MANY on this forum can attest to, can be like living on an emotional roller coaster. You HAVE to stay up and positive as much as possible, because you never know when you're going to get that interview call. But, staying positive during such a difficult time in one's life can be much easier said than done.
I really hope you do well on your interview tomorrow. Regardless of how it goes though, through my own experience with being long-term unemployed, I found that the thing that helped me the most day to day, aside from trying to keep my days structured, with specific things I wanted to accomplish on most days, having a sense of thankfulness for the blessings I already have in my life helped me to continue to smile and laugh - most days, anyway. Sometimes, I would give in to the frustration, uncertainty and unfairness of being out of work, but, I would just dry my tears and keep going.
God is faithful. He will see you through. We're also here to support you, so post often.
Let us know how your interview goes.
Hugs,
Janice : )
