Danny, I think ppl are just putting info out there in case someone wants to try it. It's helpful to know what kind of things are availble and where they are located in case someone is interested. Not nec a recommendation (at least not in Rodrigo's case).

By some strange good luck I think I'm going to be on a test study for TMS, I'll get the paperwork tomorrow. I'll keep you all posted.

Im really confused by this. No office in San Diego or Westwood that I could find. Found one in LA. Price I was quoted was $475 per treatment(2 a day) for up to 12 weeks. This type of treatment does sound very interesting. Are we talking about the same place?

John, Dr. Stubberman in Los Angeles, is the only doctor, who knows what the hell he is doing in this field, that is located in the US.

The pioneer behind this, is a doctor in Germany.

John the pricing structure for this therapy runs about $5,000 per week.

There are allot of people in Canada, Washinghton DC, New York, and San Diego, that are just starting off.

They might be able to help you. But Dr. Stubberman has the equitment and knowledge and success rate, well beyond these other doctors.

I will be done in September/Oct 2013 with my 5 month therapy. If it works, I am expecting 70% reduction or better.

I promise to keep you guys updated. Also a friend of mine just started his treatments recently.

So I will keep you guys informed, on our progress.

In my email they did not state what the success rate I could look for. If you get a 70% reduction I would consider that a cure. I hope the best for you.

Well, we will know for sure by September/October.

I'm so sorry about your bad luck. I don't see why migraines would disqualify you. It's not in anything I've read. Usually, researchers worry about having metal implants, which could affect the testing. Perhaps, the researchers are being extra cautious. Still, it seems unreasonable.

Who is doing the study? I'd love to talk to someone about it. My tinnitus has improved, but it's not gone! You can PM me if that's easier.

Thanks for the information! I will pursue Dr. Stubberman if I can't get it closer. I'm in Ohio.

I have read extensively about TMS. The only downside is that the tinnitus tends to return. I'm not sure if this is a problem of not enough treatment, or if people will have to return every so often for a new "tune up." Whatever, this and tDCS both are promising. I'd prefer drug therapy, but the companies are years away from a breakthrough. The only exceptions are Otomony and Auris Medical. The latter does have a tinnitus drug in trial, but it's only for acute tinnitus.

Your Welcome. The therapy needs at least 5 months.

The trials in Germany were to short (1 month). That is why TMS did not hold.
