Wrongful Conviction/ Injustice Community Group
For people and families who have tasted or advocate against the horrors of injustice
It really frustrates me how society does little to nothing about the radical feminist groups out there who either use false accusations as a weapon against any male that they dislike, or attack/threaten/assault any male who is falsely accused of even a minor slight against a female. Or about all the big names in modern feminism who openly make statements like how "all men are automatically rapists by virtue of being male", or that "there is no such thing as consensual sex and all sex is actually just rape". There are even some who insist that just looking at a woman should be considered rape.
I find it difficult to feel safe when society and mainstream feminism (who one might think would want to curtail such behavior among its members) do little to nothing to deal with the radicals. Society and the mainstream media always seem to try to ignore or brush the issue aside in order to avoid making feminists look bad or anything like that. Even in cases like the incident a few years back in South America where a massive mob of radical feminists violently besieged a church during some national feminism day of some kind. The clergy peacefully stood guard outside to protect the people taking shelter inside, and despite their peaceful resistance they were violently assaulted by the mob. I don't recall that getting much (if any) coverage outside of the video footage floating around the web here and there.
People are also always trying to dismiss that sort of behavior as not being what the majority of "real" feminists are about. That might provide some degree of comfort if it weren't for the fact that the actions of the "real" feminist groups who lobby for and get laws and changes made didn't frequently match up with those of the radicals. If you look at the laws and other things they lobby for and get to happen it's full of biased laws that unfairly strip rights away from men, or take relief services meant to help anyone in need (such as money for victims of war/disease in foreign countries) and get those services changed to be either exclusively for women or mostly for them.
I found out recently that in Itally there are even laws that prohibit men from getting paternity tests if they suspect a child isn't biologically theirs. And in the US there was a case where a soldier who had been held prisoner by enemy forces (somewhere in the Middle East I think) for over a year or two. Upon being rescued and returning home he was thrown in prison for not paying child support while he was being held prisoner since the laws that had been made didn't allow for exceptions in circumstances like that.
There are even laws in the US that force male rape victims to pay their rapist child support. Even if the victim was a child and their rapist an adult when it occurred.

Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...
Think about this what do these women do when they have car problems? Or problems with there house? Most of the time it's a guy who fixs those problems!
I think iam a modern women too I even do a guys job but I will always admit when I can't do something or need help with stuff.....and I still love a pretty dress!! :)

1) In the late 1960's, the feminist groups began to appear. Spearheaded by people like Gloria Steinem, a political activist and one of the first feminists, the plight of women was brought forth to the general public via the media. Remember, the "Burn the Bra" movement in this country? The males did very little to counter the feminist' movement, so the movement surged far ahead of the male point of view.
In short, the females just out hustled the males and were so aggressive in their campaign that people had to listen.
2) Most sex crimes, including rape and sexual assault, are committed by males against females. That speaks for itself. Ditto for the domestic assault cases, which usually have the male as the perpetrator.
3) The media has been one of the worst enemies of the male population. In the past few decades, we have seen the advent of the cable news networks, which inundates the viewer on a 24/7 basis with nothing but bad news. Bad events sell better and they concentrate on anything that brings higher ratings. Better ratings, means more advertisers, which means more air time is bought, which means more profit for the network. Much of that bad news is news of men committing actions against women.
Much of public opinion is shaped by the media, particularly the media on TV.
4) Tying in with point #3, whenever there is a high profile crime, saturation occurs with the media showing it over and over. We only have to look at the JonBenet Ramsey case, the Elizabeth Smart case, the Jayce Dugard case, or the horrific case in Ohio involving Mr. Castro and the three young ladies.
When individuals see this on a continual basis, of course, they will begin to be biased against males.
5) We still cling to the belief that "men are supposed to be tough" and not allow anything to bother them. That will never change since from birth, we are told to "act like a man" and "men don't cry." We see young ladies playing with dolls while young men playing with guns.
All this has a cumulative effect of sticking in people's minds.
While men do indeed have a tougher time in society in a few ways, especially the criminal justice system, let's not forget that there is a prejudice against women in the country in other areas.
Women do not earn an equal wage as men for the same job. It is much more difficult for a woman to "move up the ladder" into a managerial position than it is a man. Hell, women did not even have the right to vote in this country until the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution in 1920.
It took a constitutional amendment to allow women to vote!!
The idea that "a man should be strong" is something so ingrained in our psyche that that will not likely ever change.
The radical feminists groups are allowed to flourish because the men sit back and do nothing to challenger the feminists' views. The squeaky wheel gets the most grease and right now the women are that squeaky wheel.
There will never be gender equality in this country.

Here you had a star football player at OU, who probably weighed around 220 pounds. He slugged a lady who probably weighed 100 pounds less than he did and almost knocked her out for slapping him.
I was taught to never hit a woman and I would never do so.
And, as usual, the coverage is phenomenal in this area. As I said before, the media does not help when it focuses on such an event.
But the young man did not help the cause of males wanting equality in the public's eye and in the criminal justice system.
So, I am not judging, but I am giving an example of how men shoot themselves in the foot when they do stupid things against women that are highly publicized.
SW, I understand 100% with what you are saying---and I agree---but it is events like this that helps to enable the feminists and establish gender inequality.

Googling "feminists attack church south america" should pull up a number of immediate results detailing the case I mentioned.
If you look up Erin Pizzey you'll find another good example of what I'm talking about. Erin Pizzey is a famous domestic violence activist who helped start some of the first women's shelters. However, when she found out that most domestic violence is actually reciprocal and started speaking out about how women are equally capable of violence in domestic violence cases other feminists turned on her. They killed her dog and sent (and apparently continue to send) death threats against her and her family (including her grandchildren). Andrea Dworkin was a prominent radical feminist (she passed away in 2005) who argued that all sex is rape, and similar things. (Although when later called out on this she tried to change what she said by saying she only meant that all sex as a violent act against women.)
The case of the captured soldier jailed for being unable to pay child support while a prisoner of enemy forces was about a man named Bobby Sherrill from North Carolina. The law that allowed this to happen was the Bradley Amendment, which forbids reducing child support payment fees for ANY reason. Including if the person is rendered physically incapable to paying, such as if they are in a coma or a prisoner of enemy forces in a war.

The article also briefly mentions another case in Kansas where a 13 year old boy was raped by the 17 year old girl babysitting him. The courts then ordered him to pay her child support when she got pregnant (despite the laws where they lived prohibiting children under 15 from consenting to sex).
Another case mentioned was where a 15 year old boy in California was raped by a 34 year old woman (who was even convicted of rape in that case). The courts then ruled that the kid must pay his rapist child support in that case too.

Even the Pew Research Center has shown that the pay gap is due to women simply being more likely than men to work fewer hours.

Also, the same sources that feminists have cited for years to claim that most domestic violence is done by men against women actually show that it's pretty equal amounts male and female offenders. When the feminist and domestic violence activist Erin Pizzey found that out and tried to bring attention to the issue so it could be addressed she and her family were turned on and attacked by other feminists.

I'd also like to point out that there are groups who advocate the rights of men and against radical feminism. However, these groups (even ones being run largely by women) get labeled as misogynistic or hate groups. Even the group that Erin Pizzey works for now has been labeled as such by Southern Poverty Law.
This is quite a lengthy list of quotes and excerpts from feminist literature/publications that vilify men and/or call for injustices to be enacted upon men. And despite what some people in the comments try to say about none of that being the case anymore, if you look around at recent/current feminist and radical feminist publications/literature/blogs you can see those ideals and views STILL being flaunted and held onto. This is part of the reason I say society tries to ignore or dismiss the problem.

There is an ongoing controversy in gaming journalism over a recently uncovered corruption case involving a feminist. The incident is being called something like "gamergate" and involves a feminist who was discovered to have cheated on her boyfriend and had sex with jounalists from several big name video game related news publications in exchange for good reviews on a game she made. Tons of gamers found out and dug up plenty of evidence of the corruption and protested about the moral integrity of these news publications, demanding that something be done to end that type of corrupt journalism.
In response the people in charge of the guilty publications denied everything (despite all of the confessions and other evidence) and started trying to silence anyone who complained about it, calling it all a bunch of misogynistic attacks. Apparently the websites of these publications and various affiliated sites with discussion boards began to ban and delete the messages of anyone who complained about the incident or how it has been handled (again saying it's all just misogynistic attacks).
This is part of the problem. Men aren't allowed to complain about abuse or other injustices if it's committed by a female, and if a man does complain he is dismissed/attacked and labeled a misogynist.
Just awful...I can sure see why men would think twice about coming forward if they were a victim of this... I'm glad more people are becoming aware of it... I think things will change more SW over time... I'm so sorry you suffer now... Gentle hug for you and thank you for all that you share rew...x
