Another day and hopefully it will be a productive one. It seems I am sick of my house you ever get that way you hate cleaning the same old thing and doing the same thing all the time and throw in some back pain and it makes me want to run away at least to a new house.
I dont know what is wrong with me but I am going stir crazy in these four walls and need to look at something different. Have you ever got like that. I need a beach or some mountains or look at some art.
Same old CP problems to say the least, hope everyone is doing ok or at least better then yesterday
Hugs and peace to all,
Lisa
Irocket i really really really want less pain for you! I think i did something to the top of my foot too. A few weeks ago i was walking down the stairs when i heard a loud pop and the top of my foot has hurt ever sense. Hubby says if it still hurts by the time we get back on saterday that he's gonna make me see my PCP. he thinks its a fracture lol
i'm just drinking my coffee before my 2 and a half hr drive. medium pain day today so not too bad.
hugs to everyone
@ Cherry: 2:30 a.m.!!! I thought my 5:00 a.m. wake-up time was early!!!
I just noticed something...my ear lobes feel fine! I will bask in that discovery.
My foot has still been at it! I figured it out though, it's the muscles are bunched up. I have a charley horse that won't go away. I've soaked it, massaged it, wrapped it, put the massager on it and it's just eased up a bit. This is misery! Hopefully by morning it will ease up.
Sure hope everyone does something to enjoy their day and has less pain.
Hugs to all Roomies!
Oh well...I have a strange schedule today. I start with n early haircut and then immediately go to PT. After a brief break, I see my new NP and then right back for a busy afternoon in the salon.
Wishing everyone a good day,
Cherry
Take care all, hugs and peace,
Lisa
My hand quit spazing so I can type again and I've been busy sending out messages and trying to get caught up.
The only thing that would make me feel better is if I got my disability decision today, and it went my way of coarse.
I'm looking forward to being an active member again on here now that things have quieted down for me and I'm feeling better.
Am I rambling again?
Oh well.
Anyway I'm feeling good today.
Finally got some house work done yesterday and still feel good. I think it is the weather as it has cooled done and more like fall weather and that always lifts my spirits and lowers my pain for some reason might be all in my head but that is ok.
Plan on keeping up with it and if I can get some laundry done I would be a happy person, the stairs is what kills my leg so we will see how it goes.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
I feel OK today. Does anyone ever want to just scream when your significant other says something regarding how they think you feel, but really don't have a clue??? I'm in the middle of that now. My doctor changed my meds at the last visit, and that with the combination of being home, is driving me nuts. My wife said something this morning and my verbal reaction was not pleasant. I have pushed her away, and she is not happy. Anyway, we'll see what happens. I have some of my old r/x that I'll have to use until I see my PM on the 1st.
I hope everybody else is doing OK. TTYL.
David.
I did get some sleep, I think I slept 6 hrs! Boy was I needing that. My foot has eased up some. Sure wish I could take muscle relaxers. This bodies been on a roll even more lately. I'm ready for a break. i was just thinking how nice it would be if we all had just one day without any pain or limitations.
Thanks Cherry! Try wrapping some moist heat around that knee.
Lisa I'm with Manny that beach sounds lovely. Walking on sand would be a big workout on your knees though.
Manny it's good to hear that you are feeling better. Can't you put off that laundry another day?! Why rock the boat, do something you enjoy for yourself.
Kansass yeah the spasms are gone! It's good to see you here. I hope to see you the next time telling us you got your decision and it's in your favor!
Sorry David that home isn't pleasant right now. When we are at home alot it gets old for everyone. You two will work it out. My suggestion is get away for awhile, take Rocco to the park or something like that. Sometimes just a little space and fresh air helps. : )
I hope everyone is having a low pain day or at least are handling it well,
Toni
@ David: Hubby and I go through tension, etc off and on. With both being at home all the time and both in pain, we normally manage pretty well. But, if we're both having a particularly bad day, we can get into a "who feels the worst" contest. When I was still working it was even harder. I knew he hurt but still had a hard time coming home to nothing being done after I'd worked all day, hurting as well. Now, I have a better understanding of what it takes to get motivated to do things. A little time and space, then some communication usually smooths things out again. I sure hope so!
All of you in Irene's path, please take care, read the Hurricane posting (I think Tipper started it) and stay in touch as much as you're able. We'll all be worried about you!
