Today being raised by a single parent is not uncommon. About three in ten children live in a single parent home. The most common type of single parent home is one with only a mother. However, single father homes are the fastest growing type of family situation; 60% growth in the last ten years alone.
I dont know what to do with the anger I constantly feel toward my exhusband. We have two kids together and are still legally married. We have been off and on since I filed for divorce in 2009. He has had a few affairs and a few weeks ago his girlfriend (who I didnt know about) said shes pregnant by him. We were together at the time. I havnt talked to him since October 30. I think about it all the time. I'm so angry at him for hurting me and our kids. I get so overwhelmed sometimes because he lives 1500 miles away so all the responsibility is on me. He also owes me $20grand in child support. I get so mad when I think about all of it. Sometimes I want to kill him. I wish I never had to see him again.

I am sorry cheating always brings anger out and I would be angry too. I get mad at my ex not as mad as you but very angry myself...I mostly just focus on our kids that I provide for. We were not ever married but together 10 years and he isnt helping much so I get angry that I feel its all on me and my oldest resents me for leaving:(

Just be thankful that he is behind you. Move on and be happy and successful, he would hate that. As for cheating, once a cheater, always a cheater!! Good thing you found out just in case he comes crawling back.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000.
