Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

Sometimes just working on a simple conversation opens the door to a lasting friendship. I met some nice people just talking for a couple of minutes with them. Of course, I wish I hadn't been intimidated with certain people. I missed some potentially nice folks because I can feel shy and insecure. I met a woman who looked like she was well to do and I was young and I didn't have much money at the time so I didn't talk to her after she asked me to get some coffee. I wish I had gone to get that coffee. Sometime a simple conversation can open a new perspective. Don't let the shyness dictate your world. Good things will come to you. I just needed to let you know that I understand your struggle and that friendships are not always easy to obtain. And if you open yourself to a conversation you just might find a nice person to share a moment with. Best of luck to you.
From middle school to my second year of high-school I had people who I was cool with but were horrible drama filled wannabe athletes truly and utterly basic . But after I got though that phase I joined a chess club at the risk of being a geek. Joining that group i found people who introduced me to DND and gaming competitions. Then when I went to college going to a friendly campus meet I got introduced to duster edm and rave parties most of those friends even now I talk to from time to time and they don't stress me out.
