Btw, I am 75. One of my current partners is more than 30 years younger than me and another is more than 40 years younger. Both ladies are very happy having a partner my age.

I don't chase them. I have no interest in women near my age. I have had no interaction with women for most of the last 20 years. The last time I dated I was about 37 and the woman was about 33. It was just friendship, which she mistook for something else. She hinted around about having a sexual relationship, to which I reacted with shock, saying "You must be joking!". She cried for two hours. This was in the spring of 1988. She went home to New Jersey for the summer. Later, she told me that she had had sex with her garage mechanic over the summer, git pregnant, and had an abortion. Then she asked me to pretend to be her boyfriend for her parents, who were visiting from New Jersey. It turned out that after I had turned her down, she started fucking some guy who was not 'presentable' to her parents. After that, I quit having anything to do with women. Now that I have started again, I am going to be interested in the same age group I was before.

Not true. I hated Woodstock even then. I hated rock and roll even then. I can't stand "the music of my youth" and could not stand it EVEN THEN. I have not changed at all. About a year and a half ago I took over a meetup weight loss group (meetup.com). A woman who wanted to join th group asked to meet me and discuss my plans for the group (it ultimately folded due to lack of interest). this woman was about 55 or so. It was one of the least pleasant experiences I can recall. What she said, how she thought, so typically 'boomer'. Crap for brains. I could hardly stand being there with her.

I agree about the US music of the 60's, especially until the British Invasion. Maybe that is why that generation started using drugs and having so much sex. The music was so bad they had to do something about the bordom.

And it is not just baby boomers. A lot of people of all ages are very shallow..still they take themselves so seriously. However, my generation has to take some of the blame for that. We took far too long to invent birth control pills and legalize abortion. lol

Actually the British Invasion stuff was far superior to the dreck that came from the US. The early Moody Blues, the Animals, early Stones, Gerry and the Pacemakers, the Zombies, et al..were at least not cringeworthy. I HATED most American R&R and pop, especially Leslie Gore "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I want To"...and the similar crap "My Boyfriend's Back..." and "Leader of the Pack".

Simon and Garfunkel were the only American act that I liked at all, even then. The girls in school didn't like me then, why should I bother with them now?
