I was diaged at she 47 . It started in the spring. I was a public school teacher. I did okay that summer but once the fall hit.... the hardest time for me always... I went into a horrible flare. It took my job, and everything. That was 6 years ago.

I turned 50 this last July. The RA seemed to slowly rear it's ugly head in January after a fall on my knees. Was diagnosed a back in August but due to getting an appointment with a doc (waiting) I am still not on any treatment. On 30 days of antibiotics...Nov 10 I go back and if I am not better he already stated I would start with MTX.

I was diagnosed last year and am 32 years old. I would say I got diagnosed pretty close to when my symptoms started. I have one little boy who is four and am pregnant with a girl. I have only been on antibiotics and plaquenil. I am currently off meds, but the preg and helping my symptoms.

57 next month

i had RA when I was kid, but didn't know it then, but people used to fight through tribulations until you died or it passed back then. We had to be gushing blood or broken in pieces before our parents took us to the doc, they had seven stair-step kids and couldn't afford it.

I was diagnosed in the 90's but I didn't care because I had to raise my kids and work full time. I didn't have time for rheumatism.

In 2004 I got the reality check that RA doesn't back down, and 2007 I started getting treatment for it.

64 now and was diagnosed at age 31.

60 this coming Monday and diagnosed 4 years ago. But had symptoms about a year before diagnosed.

I'm 54 and was dx about five years ago. Looking back I realize the plantar fasciitis was early RA. Have been near remission for over a year. Still have pain, but low swelling.

Diagnosed at 44 - and I'm now 49. Symptoms existed since I was 38.

42, diagnosed this year but have had problems since 2005, never could get the diagnosis right, docs were not looking for seronegative, my family doc finally got me to the right one, I feel very fortunate now.
I have 2 boys age 24 and 25.

It's amazing how many of us have the very same symptoms. I have plantar Faciiitis right now in both Feet and we're leaving on a 2 week
Cruise from Canada back to Houston. I have no idea how I will do it but meds will have to be incorporated. It is sad that they can't find a cure for this dreadful disease. Instead we have to put these awful Drugs into our system. On the other Hand though if we don't our quality of lives will be non existent and I don't want that either. I guess we do what we have to do. I wish all of you well as well as you can be. The responds was nice. I always loved DS.

I'm 43 and was diagnosed almost 3 years ago. I teach full time and have 3 kiddos (13, 11 and 8). Luckily my hubby is helpful at home, otherwise, we would be getting take out a lot!!!
Gentle hugs for you all, and hopefully someday they will find drugs for us so we don't have to modify our lives at all!

Hi, I'm new to this group and looking for some answers~ have been recently diagnosed and am 51.

I am 29, almost 30. Diagnosed 7 month ago.

I'm 47, diagnosed August 2014. It still feels new to me. I just had a Rituxan treatment last Wednesday and if I can make it there next week, I'll have the other one.

Ever since this has been dropped into my lap, my life has been turned upside down and I haven't been able to get right side up yet. I know no one asked for it but it sure did put me in a bind. I think that there has to be something positive to it and maybe it's that I can be of help to someone. So, just know that I am here to anyone who just needs a shoulder or has questions about something specific that I can help with I would be happy to get involved. I have RA, other connective tissue disorders, I'm out of a job now, going through the disability process, and in need of support from you all as well.
