I finally got my copy today....woohoo!!

Bloody Hell!!! I just got mine, but I am too nervous (??shaking too much??) to open the packaging!!

It's okay Brit. I was shaking too. It's the adrenaline. I called Matt after I opened mine to tell him how wonderful it was, and I even told him I was still shaking. It's a good thing, trust me. Open it up and you'll calm down. The words here on how wonderful it is doesn't do it justice. You're awe will take over your anxiety!

Brit, you're going to like how your letter is presented. Nothing to be nervous about.

I can't imagine how it would feel to see your own letter. I was surprised how emotional I got when the books arrived. I grabbed my copy and crawled into bed and forced myself to read it in order...because I wanted to do the impossible and read everyone's letter first!

Oh guys, I love the book, the words, the lay out, my friends, my tribe in print, but now I feel like total rubbish (or worse - over to Poodle for those words). I am nauseous, shaking and edgy. I don't know why, maybe because it is 'more real' now, now it is 'in print', out there for the world to see. I don't know. don't get me wrong it is an amazing book, but I am just finding the reality of it hard right now. Please don't see this as negative about the book, it is totally about me (good job for fishing huh?). I don't want to piss on anyone's bonfire and I do really understand the courage it took to write these letters, to open our hearts up to others and let them into some of the secret things of our lives. I just wonder if reality has hit me again - hard

Brit...gentle hugs...I just posted in another thread that the book is so real, so physical. Maybe what I mean to say is that it's tangible. That's powerful. I think your reaction makes perfect sense.

Nope...still nada. Was this some elaborate hoax you guys pulled on me? I think everyone in the US...and some abroad, have seen this book. But alas, still no book has made it to my hands. :(

Did you give Matt an insufficient address Leitha? Cause i'm a dumb-dumb and did that, and I still haven't gotten mine either lol

Oh, no, you guys! Leitha is on to us! She will soon figure out we made up the entire book, that it was all an elaborate ruse to see if we could make her fall for it!!

I did. Hook, line, and sinker. I keep waiting at work, for the mail-lady to come around. I rush to the mailbox at home to see if the copy from Matt is there...dang, this is rough - the waiting I mean.

I think I gave a good address...hmmmm.

I am waiting, too Leitha... same thing, running to the mailbox each day. I didn't even think about the address thing... I bet ours will be in our mailboxes tomorrow, though :)

I keep expecting to see it in my mail but then i remember how far it has to travel. I got really excited to see a package last week. My stomach did a sicky nervous, excited flip...only for me to realise it wasn't my package and had come from Germany. Stupid previous tenant had apparently forgotten he doesn't live here any more and hasn't lived here for 3 years...an easy mistake to make =/

woohoo! I got mine and in pretty good condition considering the way the packaging looked. I was about to go out and kick off with the mailman!!

I haven't read it yet. I flicked through but then I decided to finish what I was doing so I could sit down with a hot drink, under a blanket and just read. Which is what I am about to do now. Despite that, facebook via goodreads has my review and I plan on writing a better version of that review for amazon and BN. :)

Britt, I totally get what you are saying. The book is amazing and I too am so prod of everyone in it. But when I got mine and realized I signed my full name my stomach did a little flip. Now it is real and in writing and that makes it so much more... I don't know real I guess. Then there is another part of me that is relieved to have it all out there in the open. So many emotions!

P.s. I love you britt for this statement " I don't want to piss on anyones bonfire"!!!
