wow!!! just listened to "I Leave The Light On," Beth Hart - AWESOME!!!!!! brought tears to my eyes

Okay, I'm not really into "girl music," but "I leave the light on" has won a very special place in my heart. It represents something very good for me.

Of course, if you ever hear Beth Hart live, you'll find there's nothing "girl music" about her--she ^%$^!ing ROCKS.

When I need triumph, it's Dan Fogelberg's Nexus off of INNOCENT AGE. " Wealthy the spirit that knows it's own flight, Stealthy the hunter who slays his own fright, Blessed the traveler who journeys the length of the light..." We are all wealthy spirits here, mighty hunters and blessed travelers..........are we not?

Okay...I'll admit I have every album (vinyl) that Dan put out there. I was a huge Fogelberg fan...him and Journey...and I love Duran Duran...their Wild Boys stuff. As for Dan Fogelberg...Windows and Walls album....love all of that one. But yes, Innocent Age, it's great.

I will only say it here, but I think I kept Loverboy afloat in the 80's, and the Eagles and every one of the albums they did individually.

I still try to sing THE REACH. Also one of my favorites.
My son has gotten me listening to techno/dance now. There's one called "Castaway" by Benassi Bros. that just speaks volumes to me. "This is the lesson I had to learn/This is the treasure I had to earn" and "I am the owner of nowhere land/Queen of the castle that's me out there" are a few lines of lyrics. I also have to admit that I'm a huge Jethro Tull fan, and am pretty much into whatever music speaks to me, moves me physically or emotionally, old, new and everything in between!!
