HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLER-COASTER WE CALL LOVE.
My boyfriend and I have been together almost 8 years. We both love each other very much. He works as a stone mason 6am to 2pm. I don't hear from him at all during that time. He normally gets home.around 3:30 and usually doesn't text me.until then or I won't hear from him at all until I get off work at 4. I don't expect him to text me all day but it does start to hurt my feelings when I don't even get a single message from him all day. I guess it's hard to believe he doesn't have any time all day to send me a quick "I love you" or anything like that. He gets upset when I bring it up and says he doesn't have time to text me. I try not to bring it up anymore but when it gets close to the end of my work day I stary feeling sad an anxious and wondering why he doesn't say anything to me all day. Am I being too needy or are my feelings normal?

The Friday before Labor Day just before we left, the options given to me basically were either quit of be fired, and if I were to stay on I were to be put on an improvement plan, which is pretty much synonymous with getting fired. I was going to do the improvement plan and just ride it out until I found another job due to money and due to the fact that I did not want to quit without another job....
How does he treat you in the rest of your relationship? It seems to me you are needing some reassurance from him about how he feels about you.
