I'm on Xarelto, but I haven't had negative side effects.

For each person it's different - because they had me on eloquis and it made me very dizzy and foggy and when I switched to xarelto i felt a lot better. I think you will probably do better on eloquis if xarelto wasn't good - seems to be what I've heard. Supposedly they do the same thing but they do it in a different way..

I've just started on Xarelto - 3 doses in and no problems to far... except if you count worrying about spontaneous bleeding!
I was given heparin injections after my last two operations for three days - no idea if it was the heparin or something else they were giving me but I was vomiting and had nasty nausea on that last day in hospital - felt so much better once I got home and off their drugs.

I've been on Xarelto for 1 month with no side effects. So sorry you were having problems with it. Hope the eliquis works well for you.

I was just diagnosed saturday. Im only 25! Worst thing I've ever gone thru. The pain never goes away! I was put on coumadin and tummy injections. Originally xaralto but then they said i possibly have lupus and i cant take any blood thinners except coumadin. Sent me home on oxygen. Will the pain ever go away? I had dilaudid in the hospital and that barely did anything. Now i only have percs. Which does NOTHING. isn't there anything else they can do? I cant stand this anymore.

Xarelto caused me to have a very bad bleed...i almost died..now on warfin with an IVC filter..warfin work much better for me..so it depends on the person.

It's been 2 1/2 since I was diagnosed with multiple Pulmonary embolisms in my right lung. Yes Zi am having side effects. I am on xarelco 20mg. I have bad sleepiness. Sleep long hrs at night. I take lots of naps during day. I tire easily and feel fatigued most days. I get chest pains almost everyday( not severe, just annoying) and the worse is burning pain in area of my right lung if I bend over to try to do housework or pick something up off the floor. Slit of activities I lived to do, I can't do any more. Causes pain and burning, like dancing, swimming and walking my dog at the park for an hour. Have lady in to do housework, as I am not able to right now. Stress or talking too much gives me chest pain or shortness of breath, same if I get upset. All DR's. I've seen have told me differant prognosis as far as how long will all these symptoms last &!some are even taking guess on what else could be causing the burning in my lungs and chest pain, like acid reflux and Gerd. Nope, that is not true

Hi Crystal, I was on Xarelto and had extreme fatigue, and what I could only describe as 'heartburn' although I'm not exactly sure what it was. Drs thought it might be side effects. They switched me to Eliquis, and both went away in a day and a half. I felt like a new man. See if they will switch you!
