Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Hi .. just seen your post.. how are you doing now ? .ive been home from hospital for 2 weeks and Ive had some chest discomfort.. almost like a raw feeling on and off .. it scares me so much when it happens and I’m terrified it means something is going wrong, the shortness of breath has eased right up and it’s only usually if I concentrate on it that I get a bit panicked and think I can’t breath !! Does anyone know if it means that things are improving if the breathless feeling stabilises ??
I find I have a couple of good days then a bit do good one where I have niggles that worry me .. I still get dizzy on and off
This is so hard isn’t it .. I just want to relax and know that things will be ok !! Is that how you feel ?!
