Pulmonary Embolism Support Group
By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
Could you elaborate on which drugs or information you found interesting?
Thank you.
Additonally, I don't care what Cave76 makes.
I DO care about the fact that a medicine exists that assists in keeping me alive so I can ridicule irrelevant posts here in the forum
Irrelevance begets more irrelevance, apparently.
"In adding this comment, I lnycrts, do promise to be nice"
Am I the only person seeing this when I reply?
If you don't like someone or don't like what they post, ignore them & their posts and move on. Adding rude replies is getting older to some of us than the stuff that you're complaining about.
While typing this I happened to look over to the right and saw "REMINDER" in bold letters. We could all probably benefit from reviewing that from time to time.
Cave76...Directly under "Reminder" is a statement about creating your own Member Groups where you can moderate discussion. Perhaps this would work for you rather than bringing up topics here that obviously upset other members and does little insofar as lending support to those needing it the group. You bring up good points/subjects from time to time, but you're choosing the wrong venue for sharing them I think.
I'm thinking I should probably cancel what I've written above, but I think I'll take a chance and hit "add" instead.
Thanks for not deleting your post. And that's not sarcasm.
I have thought quite a while about starting my own Member Group but it wouldn't be restricted to PE ---- a wide ranging set of topics probably.
So if I start my own group it will be in addition to this one.
I have to disagree with you though about this thread being the wrong venue for me. I have PE. I learn a lot by reading the information given here, in myriad ways.
I can also help people in ways other than is the preferred way here---- giving sympathy or emotional support, although I have done that too, in my own way.
Emotional support in the way of virtual hugs is great! I think it should be an integral part of any support group.
Giving factual information and backed-up by medical references (so people can know there's some basis for that information) is also a way to help people and I'll continue to do it. I believe it's a much needed addition to any support site (not just this one) where medical advice is given freely that sometimes make me cringe.
If I occasionally start a thread that is slightly off topic, well I've seen that done here by others---- and I thought they were good threads and sometimes joined in myself. If the thread is keep alive by others---- that's not my doing or concern.
And I do try to follow the precept of DS---- 'promise to be nice'.
