By far the most common form of pulmonary embolism is a thromboembolism, which occurs when a blood clot, generally a venous thrombus, becomes dislodged from its site of formation and embolizes to the arterial blood supply of one of the lungs. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, pain during breathing, and more rarely circulatory instability and death.
A little game. Since I just passed my two year mark, and it was my birthday yesterday for which I was very greatful to have, I guess the whole experience has been on my mind lately. For whatever reason, this popped into my head this morning, and it is proving to be more difficult than I thought. So....

I feel like I was swept up into a hurricane at the diagnosis, and am still trying to just hang on and make it thru.

Another song, "Hold On" ......hold on, hold on to yourself, 'cos this going to hurt like hell..... and that is speaking to more of the emotional place at times.
I guess "Hope Floats" would also be a good one too.
A song that really stuck with me through everything would be "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. There is just so much awesomeness in the world that sometimes it's hard to look past the fear of having a clot. This song helped to cheer me up though.
