This is my 5th day with no codeine, most of my ache's and pains have gone but i'm still getting cold chills and i'm waking up alot through the night. How long do the chills last? i think the chills are the worse part of a detox...

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
All depends. It can take up to 2 months to be completely over it.
In the meantime, You need alot of support to help you through it all!
Journaling everyday about your thoughts and feelings is one good way. You don't have to even make it public if you don't want to. Just keep it so you can read it.
