I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.

I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

I've been sick the last week and a half so I couldn't walk. It's taking forever to get better. Today I walked a few blocks.

Good for you! I didn't. I did get a walk in on Thursday.

It's finals week at my community college where I teach, plus I spoke about PTSD at a church Sunday, so my weekend was busy, too.

Hope to change that and get a walk in today.

I did it! And it was a hefty walk up over a steep hill and back, too!

Sorry you're feeling anxious, but you sure did get that walk in again--you're consistent, Rizen. No walk today for me, worked all day and long into the night. Hope for a walk tomorrow, though.

Good, Rizen. I did it, too! And I had a long day with end of year meetings at my community college where I work, a long day on top of about 10 days of bad sleep. I still had a good, long walk after it all. It made me feel really good about myself to do that after all.

Gosh...I am proud of all of you!!!! I sprained my ankle a couple of weeks ago and have a sweet tooth and don't drink enough water. You all reminded me to go get another glass of water.
