Surgery scheduled and needing prayers (TW?)

Hey guys,
I'm have a surgery scheduled for tomorrow and I could really use any thoughts, support, or prayers you have to give.
I'm not handling it well. I am going to have to be put under, and the last time I was put under for surgery I had cancer and flat-lined. Four times. What was supposed to be a simple 45 minute procedure turned into a 5 hour long surgery while they took out mass and small pieces of several of my organs, while trying to simultaneously keep my heart going (which was fully prepared to quit on me).
This time around the surgery itself is for something fairly basic, but I have a lung infection (not a respiratory infection; my lungs broke out in hives which then got infected) and my heart is failing. While I should recover quickly from what necessitated the surgery my heart and lungs have a long road ahead of them and my doctor isn't sure what damage - if any - is permanent and what will heal over time. I have been warned I am not going to be back on my feet for the next several months and as a graduate student and a wife and mother, this scares me.
I don't know what to expect other than the knowledge that I have an excessively high risk of complication and infection. My doctor would have performed my surgery last week but he didn't think my heart would make it.
I think I'm terrified more than anything that I am going to go under and not wake up (because I almost didn't the last time). I'm not ready to leave my daughter and husband behind and feel awful that I can't even bring myself to promise my daughter that I am coming back home. I'm anxious and losing sleep over this (and also because I feel physically awful), and while I realize I only have one more day to go (because my surgery is Tuesday afternoon), I think this is going to be the longest of my days.
Should anything happen to me tomorrow, I would like you all to know that I appreciate you. You have helped me navigate one of my roughest weeks in the last four years, and I am handling it a lot better than anticipated which is, in part, because I have you. Thank you.

My work-a-holic husband is experiencing his first anniversary of a gall bladder failure which resulted in several near-death experiences over the course of 6 months. He slept through most of it. I was fielding the problems/hopes of adult sons and their families in between watching "Simple Procedures" turn complex. Heart trouble was among the complications. One thing just keeps leading to another. Still. . . His heart is still more effected than his work-a-holic habits. I am working over-time at reminding myself it is not mine to sort. Ouch.
If you get strange sensations on your fingers during your longest day, it is just my prayers reaching out to hold your hand. Prayers in progress.
