I'm so tired of being scared everyday to be in my bathroom, but ever sense I found out what my dad was doing I can't shake the feeling of being watched. It's been 7 months sense I was last at my dads house and it's not that I don't trust my mom or her boyfriend it's just I'm terrfied. I was suppose to be safe with my dad but he only proved to me that even in the safest of places I'm not safe. I can't even use the nurses bathrooms at school with out completely freaking out. I haven't been able to eat with my friends at lunch because I'm so scared of other people now that I have to eat in the nurses office. I'm stuck in my fear and I'm afraid I'm never gonna live a normal life especially now I have to live my life with PTSD.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
The reason that strikes me as so important is that once I can put my fears into words, it suddenly becomes easier for me to decide what to do about it. I'm not so stuck any more. Options start to become available.
Be patient with the process, Ciar. PTSD is a condition, not a lifestyle. Fear is *just* a symptom. Symptoms can be managed. At least. . . That's what I keep telling myself. Some days I believe me. *Just* a symptom. . . Think the "Just" needs a few more stars? Well just it all. . .
Continued support while you sort, Ciar.
